Demos must be a MINIMUM of twenty five (25) minutes but no longer than sixty (60) minutes. Your demo should be reflect the styles and genres you plan to spin at the CanFURence dances.
DJ's will be picked based on their mixing skill, music selections, style as well as trends within the fandom. You are NOT allowed to switch genres but you may switch and adjust tracks as per creative license.
We do hope you keep in mind the taste of our attendees when selecting tracks. DJ's must avoid excessive swearing in their demos and sets. This is so all of our attendees can enjoy the fun.
If you are chosen you will be emailed with additional info for your DJ set. If you are not selected you will be notified by email too. You may request the reasoning for not being selected, however that email may take some time. We ask that you adhere to our decision. The explanation is a courtesy. We ask that you not use it to create any unnecessary drama regarding the decision made by the dance staff
